Specificité: The epitope for clone 5H11 maps to amino acids 1057-1507 of the human MAP2A sequence. This region is found in MAP2A and MAP2B but missing from MAP2C and MAP2D. As a result this antibody is specific for neuronal dendrites and perikarya.
